With the arrival of baby #3 and moving the big girls into one room – maximizing the space in their little closet quickly moved to the top of our project list. I had seen a few similar closet makeovers on Pinterest and knew that the Ikea Pax Wardrobe System was the answer to our small closet problems!
A Romantic Floral Nursery
My sweet little Evie spent her first 8 months of life living out of a pack and play, so her nursery is special to both of us! She arrived just weeks before selling our home, moving temporarily in with my parents, and then moving to our new (fixer upper) home in Florida. When we finally were able to put together her room I was beyond thrilled!! I mean, it’s still not completely finished, but I was too excited not to share! 🙂
Horse Inspired + Modern Chic Little Girls Room: Bedding + Details
If you follow me on Instagram, you will know I have been busy with renovation projects in our new Florida home! First on my list was getting my three year old daughter’s room completed. Combining her love of horses and princess gave me a pretty good idea of what I wanted the room to look like. Adding horse elements with a little bit of whimsy while keeping things very girly chic was my goal. Here is a quick before picture, just so you can appreciate all of my late nights haha….

DIY: Wood Panel Bathroom Accent Wall
We discovered a tiny leak a couple of months ago in our master shower. It was leaking into the basement! (water = horror!!) Fortunately for us, it was a new leak and hadn’t done any damage. However, we did need to rip out the whole shower and replace it. I can’t wait to share with you the final product! I have just a couple more design details I want to finish before I call it a day. UNTIL then, I will show you the accent wall we just finished in the toilet room.
DIY: Repurposed Old Window – Nursery Decor
I. LOVE. OLD. WINDOWS. Seriously though, sometimes the most simple of things contain the most character! I wanted to share what I did with a bunch of old windows I bought from a guy at a gas station in the mountains for five bucks (true story). First off, I used one as nursery decor.
DIY: EASY Pallet Wood Sign
I have been on a crafting hiatus due to working in the corporate world, traveling, moving, having a baby, etc. Now that we are settled into our new house and I’ve got a better grasp of my new SAHWM role, I wanted an easy project that wasn’t a huge time commitment. BEHOLD my friends… pallet wood. This stuff is just a wonderful gift to us creative folk (or those of us who aspire to be crafty). We have an adorable front porch and I wanted to add a personal touch – I found something like this online and just took that as inspiration for my own project.
