Horse Inspired + Modern Chic Little Girls Room: Bedding + Details

If you follow me on Instagram, you will know I have been busy with renovation projects in our new Florida home! First on my list was getting my three year old daughter’s room completed. Combining her love of horses and princess gave me a pretty good idea of what I wanted the room to look like. Adding horse elements with a little bit of whimsy while keeping things very girly chic was my goal. Here is a quick before picture, just so you can appreciate all of my late nights haha….

DIY: Wood Panel Bathroom Accent Wall

We discovered a tiny leak a couple of months ago in our master shower. It was leaking into the basement! (water = horror!!) Fortunately for us, it was a new leak and hadn’t done any damage. However, we did need to rip out the whole shower and replace it. I can’t wait to share with you the final product! I have just a couple more design details I want to finish before I call it a day. UNTIL then, I will show you the accent wall we just finished in the toilet room.

DIY: How to Make a Fluffy Tutu

I grew up in a house full of boys which meant lots of sports, cars, and dirt. I was your biggest tomboy and didn’t wear a dress by my own choosing until I was like 15 (not kidding). I was a tough chick, I know my cars, i’m good at sports, and I have a passion for the outdoors… but I wince every time I look back at family albums. Backwards hats, grubby boy clothes… oh dear lord.. LOL.

    DIY: EASY Pallet Wood Sign

I have been on a crafting hiatus due to working in the corporate world, traveling, moving, having a baby, etc. Now that we are settled into our new house and I’ve got a better grasp of my new SAHWM role, I wanted an easy project that wasn’t a huge time commitment. BEHOLD my friends… pallet wood. This stuff is just a wonderful gift to us creative folk (or those of us who aspire to be crafty). We have an adorable front porch and I wanted to add a personal touch – I found something like this online and just took that as inspiration for my own project.
